Team Springboard is a Social Enterprise organisation. We offer training, work experience and volunteering opportunities in practical horticulture. We believe that working outside in a natural environment helps to reduce social isolation and improves wellbeing. It also provides the opportunity to learn new skills. Our structured programmes support individual needs and aim to overcome barriers that prevent progress.
Through horticulture, gardening and the development of community growing spaces, we help people to connect with each other and with nature.
We are committed to using horticulture to:
- support people to smash barriers into work
- raise awareness of environmental issues
- encourage health eating and lifestyles
- protect wildlife
- build community
- reduce social isolation
The community garden currently holds regular volunteer sessions on Thursdays. Morning activities are from 10.30am to 12.30pm, with afternoon sessions from 1pm to 3pm.
Group and/or family activities are held on Friday mornings.
Let us know if you want to come over for a visit. Everyone is welcome!
This project is funded by Orbit and Stratford District Council.
