As part of the government’s Plan for Jobs free courses and qualifications are now available to adults (19+) through the Lifetime Skills Guarantee. If you are 19 or over and do not already have a full level 3 qualification you can now access a free qualification. Some of these qualifications are available to study online or part-time. This British digital education platform is an open online learning platform that allows you to browse courses in a diverse range of subjects to find something that you’d like to learn about. You can choose the Free learning option that will give you access to your selected course for its duration + 14 days, regardless of when you join. Find out more about Future Learn.
LinkedIn Learning is an American website offering video courses taught by industry experts in software, creative, and business skills. Some courses are for free (subject to subscription and the duration of their free trial). You will need to have a LinkedIn account to access these courses. Before you sign up, read carefully the information provided by LinkedIn about their subscription and terms and conditions to make sure you can access courses for free, or if there is any cost involved.
