Summer activities
This summer, keeping the kids entertained is more affordable thanks to a VAT cut from 20% to 5% across the UK, which automatically lowers the price of children's meals, cinema and theatre tickets, and attractions like theme parks and soft play.
There are also plenty of free activities to enjoy, from visiting galleries and museums to joining the Summer Reading Challenge or exploring the outdoors. To find out more about discounted tickets, free travel, and budget-friendly summer ideas, visit the gov.uk website.
