We were truly blown away by the response and received a huge number of heartfelt nominations, each one highlighting neighbours who make a real difference in their community every day.
After careful review, we narrowed the entries down to 10 finalists. From these, one winner and three runners-up were selected by our Customer Engagement Team.
And the winner is…
Mike from Erith
Mike received three outstanding nominations recognising his commitment, positivity, and dedication to his community.

Mike’s nominations consistently praised his dedication to the community and the people around him. Mike’s neighbours highlighted his active involvement in local meetings and the Neighbourhood Watch, his work with the local police to help keep the area safe, and his readiness to support others whenever they needed it.
“He genuinely cares about the neighbourhood and the people in it and is always ready to help.”
Neighbours also spoke warmly about his positive attitude, saying that he always has a smile on his face and regularly shares helpful information that keeps neighbours informed and connected.
On the win Mike said: “Being involved in the community has been incredibly rewarding. Connecting with my neighbours, supporting one another, and growing together has made this feel like far more than just somewhere I live - it feels like home. Being nominated today serves as a reminder that every little bit of help given has a lasting positive impact, and it motivates me to double my efforts in the year ahead.”
These awards shine a light on the kindness, care, and community spirit that make our neighbourhoods such special places to live.
