As part of a nationwide shift in how energy services are managed, the Radio Teleswitch Service (RTS) will be turned off permanently from 30 June 2025. If you’re currently using RTS to control your heating or hot water, this change could affect your system and how much you’re charged for your energy.

You could qualify for a one-off £150 discount to help with your energy bills, depending upon your eligibility. With the Government’s Warm Home Discount Scheme, you no longer need to apply for the discount on a first come, first served basis. The Government has set eligibility criteria and if your household meets it, the discount will be applied automatically through your energy provider. If you have a prepayment meter, you will likely receive vouchers.
